It's bloody irritating isn't it? I usually save the highest-res versions I can find. The chap who took the second photo has a colossal flickr account, but they're all 640px wide max.

It's a gorgeous shot, and it's clearly available somewhere in a higher resolution, but I can't really fault him for not freely distributing something he's using to make a living. Such a let down, though, i just want it for my desktop! And to maybe blow up into a living-room-sized canvas...

Don't understand why. I went to an "Irish Pub" and they wanted $12 for a piece of corned beef, some cabbage and a couple of potatoes. Fuk you, give me a $7 hamburger plate.
