What a good race...

My thoughts and potentially spoilers after gap.

Seriously, that was an awesome race. Sadly only one of the cars I cheer for made it to the end (Bottas made it, both Lotuses and Massa didn't).

Bottas drove like a maniac, from 15th to 6th then back to 19th and finally up to 5th. I'm looking forward to seeing how Williams does in Malaysia. The DQ sucks for Riccardo, but I'm not a fan of RBR. Hamilton retiring screwed up my fantasy grid so damn. Lastly, I hope Mclaren goes to their old red and white livery for the next race since they don't have a title sponsor yet.

Just so you guys know the teams I cheer for are Lotus and Williams (I like underdogs).

Methinks Lotus is the underest of the dogs this year. Kimi sucked, too, which I enjoyed seeing. I don't really understand the fanaticism.

Williams will be this year's ferrari - meh in qualifying, but beasts in the race. I predict a win for Massa or Bottas and a couple of good podiums with lots of 4-8th places.

I started watching F1 last year and knew nothing of any of the teams. Watching a sport without cheering for something is boring. I chose to support lotus because I liked their livery. The more I learned more about the team (driver's personalities, their social media, etc) the more I like them.

I love their livery. I never really latched on though. I'm a big Hamilton fan, and I've been watching Bottas with interest. Now that he has a competitive car he's very much my favorite to watch.

I think a big part o Williams poor qualifying was their tire choice. Most of the field was on full wets, but Williams, along with Alonso were on intermediates, which just weren't as fast. I'm really excited about their performance though. I hope they are a regular in Q3 and the races this year. If things continue this way, they could take Lotus's spot among the top teams.
