Searching for something completely unrelated and this popped up.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Years later people still think I lied about the truck being stock(other than altitude adjustment). It comes up every now and then and even with a video and timeslips( !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! ) I get called a liar. FWIW, look at the date on the timeslips. Fall '09, there wasn't shit available to mod the 4th gen truck even if I wanted to.
From that day at the track.
Now it's got 65k miles on it. Daily driven. Driven it cross country a handful of times. Hasn't seen a track in a while...

Damn that is one of the sexiest trucks...
You need to track it often.

I think I came close to getting the max out of it. Might have had a 13.69 @ 100, but I was happy with 13.7 @ 99.8. I'm not gonna mod it, I have a lifetime power train warranty and with the 545rfe's rep and my penchant for chewing gears I want to hold on to it. I do drive it out to Woodward every now and then...11 second cars are a lot more fun, but there's something to be said for a truck that's a couple seconds quicker than anyone thinks.

I wouldn't mod it either with that kind of warranty. It's not like you really need more power. I'm sure you get so much out of it as it is.

Yeah, it's a blast as is. Couldn't ask for much more in a dd truck.

I dig your truck, dude.
Also, your welding is excellent.
The story behind this one is nice. I like the truck too!

So do I, haha. Is that real wood in the bed, third one down from the left?

Copper! I used it for the bed in the '64 C10 and the '51 F1. Gives the illusion of wood while keeping the piece metal.
