I'm just so amped after qualifying. I have some things I'd like to say (Picture just because, series/cars unknown)
1. The crowd cheering when Vettel didn't make Q3 was pretty much the greatest thing ever
2. I love the Martini livery, I just wish it had more blue and red. It just seems too bland, when I would have gone with big ass stripes.
3. Excited to see some new guys perform well. Kvyat. Kobayashi. Especially Magnussen. Holy balls 19 year old. Hope he and his dad (in the Sebring) do well this weekend
4. Good for Ricciardo at home, hope he does well tomorrow.
5. Damnit Ice Man, why'd you have to crash and not make Q3. And I didn't even get to hear you say anything funny on the radio.
6. Hope Massa can kick Alonso's ass and same with Ricciardo on Vettel.
7. I've really grown to start liking the underdogs. Hopefully someone can get at least 1 point this season. Especially Perez, he was close last year.
8. Lotus. Get your shit together please.
9. Hard to judge the season based of the 1st race qualifying, but if the cars are harder to drive it looks like there should be some interesting racing.
10. The cars look faster and sound slower. I miss the stratospheric revs.
11. For the love of all the petrol gods, can we please have some disparity this season and not have the championship wrapped up 4 races early. And can someone make Vettel cry.

Series is F1. Cars & drivers were Joseph Gilles Henri Villeneuve (CAN) (Scuderia Ferrari) on the Ferrari 312T4 (Ferrari Flat-12, finished 8th) and Carlos Alberto Reutemann (ARG) (Martini Racing Team Lotus) on the Lotus 79 (Ford-Cosworth DFV V8, he retired) in the 1979 German Grand Prix at Hockenheimring.

There really was a lot to take in during qualifying. I think the Williams could have qualified better if they spent the whole time on full wets, I really think they can be competitive in the race. I was also shocked by Riccardo. I had no expectation for him to finish so highly. That's honestly the most excited I've ever been about anything Red Bull. Lotus is a sad shell of its former self right now. Remember, they won this race a year ago. Now, they had one driver not even set a Q1 time. Also, Kvyat is 19, I believe Mags is 21. I think his dad said during the Sebring broadcast he (Jan) started at 22, so Kevin is starting a bit younger. And finally. Holy Kamui! A Caterham starting 14th! What a result. I see their first point coming this year at the hands of Kobayashi.

One of the most thrilling qualifying sessions I've seen in a while.
Martin Brundle said it right, this was a session for the younger drivers. Hope it makes for an interesting race

Doesn't necessarily need to be a wet race, as long as it isn't a boring race dominated by 1 driver

Also, I forget who it was, but at the end of Q3 one of them was rooting so hard for Riccardo and kept saying "come on, come on" The passion was awesome

Yeah, that qualifying was pretty awesome to watch. And yeah, the huge cheer when Vettel came up short was the best part, I laughed, it was awesome.
