I met some fellow Opponauts yesterday! There was a car show just a few minutes from my house yesterday evening so I decided to bring the Baja Bug out and see what other cars were there. Cherry_man1 came out with his family in their '73 Gran Torino and Gizmo made an appearance in his supercharged XLR. These guys were nice as can be and it was great meeting some other Oppo folks. Here are some pictures I took of the show. Enjoy!
Cherry_man1's Torino. Gorgeous car!
Supercharged engine bay of Gizmo's XLR. His car was really damn cool. If I remember correctly, he's got ZR1 suspension all around so it handles like it's on rails. Unfortunately I didn't get more pics of his Caddy, so hopefully he can make a post with all the details of this car.

Thanks! And yes, I had to do them one by one. I'm sure there's a faster way to upload them, but I don't know how to do it unfortunately haha

Well if you can get out tonight to Collinsville IL there is one at Culvers I'll be there and as of right now the Mag 500's havent arrived.

Thanks! There were a bunch of awesome cars there. Before I arrived there were close to 75 or so cars but when I got there it had thinned to a little more than 30. Definitely a good time though.

Sucks, I drove by twice, but had reservations up the street at Citizen Kane's. afterwards we were too stuffed, and went home. Too bad as we had some time to kill before hand, and went shopping before we saw the cars. Maybe next time.

Come on out next time! I think they do the show every week at that Sonic in Kirkwood. Cherry_man1 sent me a schedule for future shows that I'll send your way when I'm on my cumputer (I'm currently on my phone). I'll be at the shows in the Bug from now on so if you're there, look for me and say hi!
