Looks a lot like an IR07 without the proper steering wheel.

Every Indycar I've seen on display has had a steering wheel like that.

It never had a motor. It didn't have any real suspension either.

Right. It does look a lot like that. Pretty sure this thing has never been on a race track. Or been driven.

Dunno. Looks entirely possible to me that it was functional. Keep in mind the steering wheels are $30,000 pieces of kit I doubt any show car will ever have the real thing going with it.

Every other race car that has been brought to CCC still had the über expensive steering wheel still attached. Maybe I'm spoiled (I know I'm spoiled) but I kind of expected to have a real race car in the garage when I was told an Indy car would be here.

Even when McLaren brought last years' F1 car they left the steering wheel and by all outward appearances it was still an F1 car, despite not having a motor. This "Indy" car just looked a bit shit.
