Woo. My first orange in 4 years

I have had this dwarf orange tree for 5 years, and this is the first time in 4 of those I have gotten a piece of fruit. I moved it to my office in October and it must really like it here in the steaming heat and humidity in the winter. Fruitlopnik y'all

It's not an orange yet. It's clearly still a green.

I believe it's normal for a fruit tree not to produce anything for the first few years of its life.

Be careful. I had a friend who had a mini orange tree. Apparently they were a little poisonous, and caused super diarrhea.

Nice work, though. I've tried growing out of the ordinary stuff in my office, it usually doesn't work for me.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news (and I hope I'm wrong because I've never had a dwarf tree) but orange trees take a couple more years to start producing ones you'd want to eat. At least you've determined it is indeed an orange tree.
