Well, just take one of these and put a Lexus Badge.
I have ride a Vellfire once. It's maybe a bit ugly, but it is pretty luxurious.
What do you think?

Ugly actually works for china (The intended audience)...but needs more Gold.

Hmm, more luxurious for removing the seats and baby making in the back than a Sienna. Still not sure if soccer moms will fall for it.

Well, actually it's designed for Japan, but there's so much country smuggling them (China, Hongkong, Indonesia, etc) so they sell it outside Japan.

well, no, I mean the article you are referencing was saying that China wants it.

Yeah..
But still, the top of the line has a 3.5L Naturally-Aspirated V6 producing 276hp, and couple that with AWD, and that's quite interesting.

Well, i was thinking the Vellfire is a JDM minivan, but there's so much Chinese, Indonesians, and Hongkongnians smuggle them outside from japan so they have to sell it outside japan.

Oh, i see.
Well, it won't sell in china. They already have one of these.
Or maybe they really need moar gold.

Yeah, it looks luxurious, but most of the upscale minivan market has gone to Suvs, Tahoe, Suburban, Escalade.

Yeah, that's why it won't sell.
Altough if i was in market for a luxurious people carrier, i'll either bought C63 AMG wagon or CLS Shooting Brake.

Haha, If I were rich. Since I'm not, then I'll settle for an S4 Wagon.

Well, that's why i said "if i were in the market for a car like that."
And i'm not rich. Yet.

I FREAKING LOVE ALPHARDS.
But when I saw them in Hong Kong, they looked skinnier :| Like made for skinny roads and the US has huge roads in the same way that the Sienna is like this huge loaf of bread on our roads.

No, they are fat.
It's about the size of BMW X5 i guess, only lower.
