Also not to be a nitpicker; Shooting Brake means a 2-door wagon. British call normal 4-door wagons estates.

I was all 'i'm with you' on the first two then the rest I was a bit, 'erm whats this', then I realised. Doh!
I used to know a few French people when I was younger and if we ever went to McDonalds or somewhere and I said 'do you want regular or large French fries, I'm going for a large fries and coke', I would either get a look or dirision or occassionally 'they are not f***ing French, their American for f*** sake'. I always found it funny so would always ask that question while in the queue to order. :)

I knew most of these, but accumulator caught me off guard. I thought a battery was a pretty common thing everywhere since they're in everything

Accumulator is a new one on me, and I'm English :) not a word in common parlance, although I have seen it used in the old MG TC manual we've got.

Hmmm, there's a couple of these that are a bit odd (although they might be used in older workshop manuals).
Accumulator is a new one on me, I just call it a battery. Same with carb venturi and hubcap. I've seen actuator used as well, but servo is also in common parlance. We use glove compartment rather than cubby box, although a cubby hole is just a general place to put things in out of sight. I also say 'mole grips' rather than 'mole wrench'.
The rest is pretty good, apart from Shooting Brake.
