Well, I guess I get to use the gif :) My super awesome girlfriend and I talked it out last night, and the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! for the Beetle Turbo S is going to be a freshly imported VW Golf Country...MAYBE a Ralleye if I can find one stock enough and not beat on. Not sure which yet, so the hunt is beginning. She prefers it to be black, with black wheels (if a Country). The other options were too trucky, too wagony, too weird, or too hard to find parts for (she gently reminded me of the garage full of French and Italian stuff already). So there it is, keep your eyes peeled for me. I am budgeting around $5-6k for the car, $2-3K for taxes and transport. Help me find a good one OPPO! Target import date is August to Boston, probably bring it on a RoRo.

YES! I saw one on Bring a Trailer for sale in the US like a year ago and was amazed by the awesomeness of the Gold Country.

So the idea of AWD versions of the BX GTi or 405 MI 16 were shot down by the better half, for somewhat rational reasons? Too bad, but understandable. Anyway, a Golf Country is great too, not as great, but still great. Besides a Peugeot owner I happen to be a mk2 Golf owner as well. About 2 years ago, when I bought a different interior for this Golf, the seller showed me a barn full of mk2s. He had not one but two Countries!

Thanks! Some people don't like to answer that. Did you study marketing in school? I'm already work in TV with some digital experience under my belt, and I've been thinking about making the jump to advertising and/or marketing.

I gotta get my shitbox together for C&C to, they have the official dates posted on the homepage. I think the first one is in april.

I don't know if I want to bring it in its current state though, its not pretty with that dented up fender

yeah I am pumped for the season. I'll be bringing a few cars down. too bad I dont trust the Peugeots for that trip. Was brave enough taking the Milano down last year. GTV6 might make it okay

Keep us posted...and my girlfriend and I will be in Europe probably June-July if we can help in any way. We haven't arranged shipping for our Lada yet, but we're planning to ship from Rotterdam hopefully.

no doubt! ours arent either, have to work around a trip to minnesota to build a camp with her family, but I would love to if we are both over and importing! wouldnt that be a hell of a post
