After waiting for this game forever and then running out and buying and eagerly inserting it in the console I waited about 30 minutes for the disc to load which is totally normal for XBOXONE. Then I discovered that I couldn't log on to XBOX Live because the "XBOX Core services are down." Nice. Not only do I have to pay an additional $9.99 per month just to play a game I just paid $63 for, the service isn't working and I can't play the game. Anyone considering buying a $500 XBOXONE needs to run for the hills. DON"T DO IT!

Wow what a major PITA... Once my friends introduced me to computer games that were actually fun, I haven't considered returning to a console.

This was supposed to be the game we were waiting for and they can't help but fuck up the launch so everyone who bought it gets to sit home and stew because they can't play it. I'm ready to sell this POS and go Playstation 4.

I'll tell you the problem Titanfall is gonna have already.
Little Jimmy is 8 years old. He plays Call of Duty and Battlefield because he's "really mature for his age". One day Jimmy is going to get tired of CoD and BF so he'll beg mommy and daddy to buy him this game that's like those but has robots! They'll buy it for him because he's "such a good kid". And all you'll ever hear is him screaming into his mic about how he'll fuck you're mom all night.
And there will be thousands of kids just like Jimmy doing the same thing. And Titanfall will sell SO WELL that the publisher decides it needs to be an annual release. So each came will come out less polished than the last.
It's what happened with Call of Duty. It's happening to Battlefield now. It'll happen to Titanfall soon too.

Yeah I'm sure you're right about that. I was playing Ghosts the other night listening to some prepubescent douchebag call everyone queers and niggers etc. Thank God for that Mute button. There has to be a modification that allows majority rule to kill someone's mic privledges. That or a demerit system that allows players to report offenders and after a threshold is exceeded they can't enable voice chat. It would be easy and the fact they don't do it shows how little they give a fuck.

On the 360 there was a reputation system and too much negative rep meant a change of gamertag (in case someone was spamming the negative rep button) for a 1st offense. 2nd was a temp ban and 3rd is a permanent ban. A little harsh but it's nice to know it exists. Even if it rarely gets used. I'd imagine XBONE had something similar?

its great on PC, i absoluetly love it... for the price of a xbox one, you can spend 2-300 more and get a good gaming that will kick the consoles ass.
I did an AMD build and spent 200 on mobo and cpu 50 on my cpu cooler, 200 on my gpu ( 2 gig 256 bit HD7850)....
