It's Friday. Fridays are stellar. How about a little Bradon Boyd to celebrate our appreciation for Fridays? It is hard for me to choose a song from them. Between Fungus Amongus, S.C.I.E.N.C.E and Make Yourself you have a ton of good songs. The later albums feature some solid tunes as well, but those three.. Man they were at their prime.
F it, here is one more to trip out on

I went through an Incubus phase. I like a lot of their songs, including the radio hits of course. My favorite little known of song of theirs has to be Are You In?, though. That track just makes me happy.

Such a fun song. They ended one of their shows with that song in the summer a few years back. It was a perfect summer night matched with a perfect song.

I really was having trouble not throwing that up there since it is such a go to hit by them, but I refrained. Great song for sure.

I saw Incubus right after Good Mourning came out. They reminded me a lot of the Chili Peppers how they would jam in between songs as an interlude from song to song. It's a great alternative to stopping, announcing/launching into the next song, and it challenges you to figure out what's coming next.

Ha, I did enjoy that about their shows. They had a little jam session while the crew was switching out instruments. The foo fighters does that a little bit as well, but Incubus makes it more jazzy which is cool. I've seen them probably more than I should in concert, but the two shows that stick out most to me are Radio City Music hall and PNC. At Radio City it was so close and personal it was great, but PNC had the perfect weather just chilling with beers and tunes on the lawn.

I saw them when I went to NIU. They played in the basketball arena there (approx 11k capacity), and they played a fantastic set. The floor was SRO, and it was a great excuse to get close with a girl that visited me from home. All in all, it was a good night.
