My issue is that I don't have adequate storage for loose cars. I used to open virtually every car I bought but I ran out of room for them. My loose cars are all stacked on top of each other in two shoebox sized totes and thinking of them rubbing together makes me cringe. Now I leave them carded and hang them on my wall.

yeah storage is becoming an issue. Unless you hang lots of thin shelves all over your house, you're going to run our of room pretty quick.

Haha, actually that is a microfiber cleaning cloth thing for eyeglasses, screens, etc. Soy sauce is over next to the microwave.

I'll be posting photos of my daughter's collection tomorrow. I counted 188, I think, after removing doubles.

I'm even worse off than Oldirtybootz... all she has to store that many cars is a big cloth perforated clothes basket. I was looking at some, and some are already showing metal. I has a sad. I'll try to think of something to keep them from rubbing. It also looks like one of the obese imbecilic in-laws stepped on one of her muscle Hot Wheels, as it's wheels are flattened; it's going to be a bitch to fix, probably easier to replace.
