Lt Andy Hamilton landing on HMS Implacable on 7 Feb 1950. Aircraft is VR885/452. Aircraft bounced over all the barriers, hit a Bofors Gun on the island then crashed into another Sea Hornet (VR853/458) in the deck park. Pilot stepped out with only minor bruises and flew two sorties the following day

Reason for the crash:
His brass balls were stuck to his left leg and he failed to adjust while on approach. This caused the roll angle to change just before landing, causing the mishap.
