The engine has yet to be timed with a light, it is leaking some gas, and I haven't touched carb settings but my carb works! I mended something! Video to come...

Yeah, usually a leak means there is something wrong.

Ah the old screw in the hose... Works like a charm 9 times out of 10.

Consider these when you are getting into the fine details. For your fuel lines. Does make a very finished appearance.

The original line is destroyed so I saved what I could and made a short jumper out of rubber line to span the gap to the carb. I didn't leave enough metal on the carb end to secure the hoseclamp.

Damn it kinja, that's not the part I clicked... Click on the annotation dot below the image. I was referring to where you capped off a line with a screw in a short piece of hose.

I've spewed GLORIOUS streams of obscenities after having one of those spring clamps leap out of the pliers and hit me in the finger at mach 12.

Yeah, I know that feeling. I generally use the crimp style. I made my own crimper out of a tool I bought at a farm supply. Just took a little grinding.
