...From my brother, yesterday. It's been sitting for a looooong time, and isn't in the best of shape. It doesn't run right now.
Plus, I have no knowledge of how any motorcycle works. As far as I know, the thing needs a battery and a carburetor cleaning. I guess I'll figure it out. Pretty excited to get it running (eventually.)

Looks to be about an '88 or so? Most decent motorcycle shops will still carry a surprising amount of parts for these old scooters. It looks like a 50cc two stroke, which is okay because most Honda scooters of this vintage had a pre-mix tank, which mixed two stroke oil and gasoline for you. Pretty nifty.
Looks like a fun little project.

They were produced from '84-'88 I think, since it doesn't have the kick start, my guess is around '85. It is a 50cc two-stroke, indeed. Funny that you mention it being nifty, in other markets it was named the "Nifty-50!"
I'm hoping it won't give me too much trouble, and it should be a good bit of fun once it's cleaned up.
