The lack of E30s for sale in St. Louis is really irritating. A couple months ago, I was finding them all over the place. Now there's only one for sale as far as I see on CL.

Did you decide to go e30 over Camaro? What's your budget?

I was thinking either e30 or Camaro, not sure yet. I was trying to stay around 2-3 thousand. Absolute max would be 3500.

They're impossible to find around here. I found a 325xi for my younger brother but the AWD wasn't working because I suppose it has been flat towed at one point in its life.
I test drove it twice and told the owner I would buy it but he was a dick and sold it to another guy just one day before I went to get it. Still kinda salty about that.

A while back, my dad and I drove an hour over to Illinois to look at a mint-condition white 325xi. Beautiful car with a showroom new interior. I think he wanted $2800 for it and I was elated because my dad liked it and wanted to buy it. The guy sold it an hour before my dad called him. I was beyond mad. Been looking for something like it ever since with no luck.

Price is very important because E30 prices can swing wildly depending on how they have been cared for. I bought mine from r3vlimited forums sight unseen and had it shipped from Texas. Probably not the smartest idea I've ever had, but the seller was a nice guy and we still talk about the E30 from time to time. If you're intent on staying local I would open up the search to neighboring states. Any other questions let me know.

Winter will do that. It's a seasonal thing. The numbers will pick back up come spring time.
