Car is in the shop for a week with transmission problems. Whenever I put it into 5th or 6th it pops back into neutral, so probably the synchros, right?

ANYWAY I'm stuck with a rental and I forgot how much I dislike driving auto ;-;

Reverse does that on Das Bierwagen if I go too fast. But Bierwagen is old and creaky and being sold for dirt this week.

I really need to name my car. Anyway, she's still just a baby, this shouldn't even be happening. Maybe I'm just the worst driver in the universe.

Used. So I'm hoping I can blame it on them. But I did learn to drive stick on it, so it's definitely partially my fault.

Well the synchros for 5th and 6th wouldn't have gone out from you stalling in 1st or botching the 1-2 shift. It's more likely that happened from really hard shifting into 5th and 6th under lots of boost. So basically, really crappy street racing.
