I was playing a car trivia game on QuizUp and my opponent said the "B" in "BMW" stands for " British" .

"The last time the Brits made a "just ok" car" — a phrase no one can utter honestly as it has yet to happen...

The sad part is I just traded a '13 range rover (1.75 years left on 3 year note) straight up for a '97 defender 90... sigh I have personal problems... Although, if I'm honest, I got a steal on the value given to the rover.

one day in middle school there was some random car trivia quiz game thing i liked the teacher and wanted to impress him and the rest of the class with my knowledge. this exact question came up and to my everlasting shame i said british motor works and immediatly hated myself.because i knew thats not right and had no idea why i said british. i guess i was just trying to answer as fast as i could. gosh it still bothers me! needless to say i felt a fool and wanted to tell everyone i knew the right answer and explain.myself.

Oh man. I was talking with a friend's dad who insisted it was British Motor Works. I told him that I'm absolutely sure it's German, and that the colour code on my car is "brillantrot". Still wouldn't budge.
