... can we agree that stance can be done right, in a way that doesn't look stupid? Case in point, !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that was featured on Speedhunters today. I think the fitment is very tasteful. !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

That's actually done very tastefully.

Despite all the stance hate on Oppo there are also people who like it here.

This car is done right, because it keeps a certain distance from the pavement and (supposed the run of the suspension is minimal, almost zeroed) sure it's totally driveable, even if it could cause blisters on the driver's ass... but it's the driver's choice, and who am I to dissent? To me it's enough that this car won't get stuck on a traffic bump.

Oh well, at least we can dream.

I would imagine there are, its just the majority of Oppo has a distaste for the whole HELLLAFLUSH BROOOOOOOOOO crowd, I would say, because they tend to be the kind of guys who slick their hair and wear neon tank tops with offensive messages.

yep like me. I just like to look at (all) cars and stanced ones often look pretty damn sweet to me. Stance is new-ish word but lowering cars for looks has been around for quite a while, I 'd guess longer than most here have been alive. Didn't War's 'Lowrider' come out in like '74?

I try to reason the hate with the fact that stance community is pretty full of young people and young people sometimes tend to do stupid things.

I agreeeeee. But, if by "stance" you mean purposefully set up for optimum handling.
teehee

True, but you'd think the voice of reason would say to not attempt to turn your wheels to 90 degree angle.

I'm not sure about the exact year but yeah, lowriding started with people trying to lower their cars as much as physically possible the hydraulics came in the picture later.

You would think so.

I'm sure this handles very well.

When done with the right tires and wheels, I love the look. I was talking to a gearhead stranger earlier today about his 2014 Infiniti Q50 AWD. In the conversation I said that if he were to lower it about 2 inches and put different wheels and tires on it would look incredible. I wish I could show him this one.

Here's the thing... there's always a few dicks that always like to "yell" out their hateful opinion on it and it sucks. Hellaflush, stance, isn't new, it's just brought out more. It was done awhile ago in Japan and now its spreading like hell which I love. It's just a lot of Oppo's aren't oppos at all. We're supposed to respect the car world and what others have done, not call out names and go all scientific that it's not going to function well. Fuck em. Every one of em.

Check out my name! Oppo didn't seem to like stance, so I am one of the few defending it.
