So it looks like the Jalopnik/Oppo hack doesn't work anymore.. Was anyone still using this? Now oppo pictures are tiny and our usernames are so faint :(

Working for me still! I will never get over that front end plow...

When I use it now, the content aligns to the left and conflicts with the top stories...

What hack? Tiger=off one?

Yup, still using it

Tiger off works fine; it's the actual hack that someone here wrote in response to whatever version of kinja came before this one. It narrows the top stories, makes the content wider, makes the thumbs for oppo bigger, and colors our usernames and tags.

Damn, that doesn't make sense it works for you and not me... Like I told Jay, the content aligns to left now and overlaps the top stories column. Video thumbs are also tiny.

Oh, I thought you meant the tiger hack. I think Oppo would probably be better off without top stories anyhow—they kind of changed the dynamic around here from lighthearted and entertaining (but brief) posts to "I need all the pageviews!" IMHO. Nothing beats the allure of being on the top stories list. Nothing.

tiger works fine, hack is borked

does this have something to do with that update I haven't clicked on yet?

It's relevant not to the most recent update but rather the one before it. Basically makes the website appear slightly altered for better usability.

Yeah, it's a bit borked today. Kinja means you'll never have the same interface two months in a row and whichever you get you won't like it very much.

Oh it happens to you to? Either it's just buggy or I feel like some new kinja changes make even tiger=off incompatible with the hack..
