A lot of your Opponauts responded to my plea for assistance yesterday, and I wanted to say thanks with some carporn. Enjoy.
1949 Porsche Type 356 Gmünd Coupe, so named because production of these vehicles was at Porsche's Gmünd, Austria plant before moving to a factory in Zuffenhausen, Germany. The Gmünd coupes were all hand-formed aluminum bodies and are very sought after today. Of interest, when Porsche moved 356 production to Zuffenhausen they contracted with Reutter Carosserie-Werke to make steel bodies for the cars as Reutter had previously been contracted with VW to make Beetle bodies. In the 1950s Reutter saw the market for car bodies evaporate with advances in manufacturing technology and by 1963 the body factory was purchased by Porsche. All that was left of Reutter was their seat upholstery division, which was renamed Recaro GmbH & Co. Recaro supplied OEM seats to Porsche and began making aftermarket seats for other vehicles. The rest is history.
Alfa Romeo 158/159 Alfetta with Phil Hill at the wheel. This car is one of the most winningest cars ever in Grand Prix racing. Of 41 GP races and 13 F1 races, the 158/159 won 37 and 10 respectively. This car dominated the first season of Formula One racing in 1947, placing first in every single race held that year. This 1.5L straight-8 powered car was a monster at the track; by 1951 it was making 420bhp from the same tiny 1.5L engine with a big supercharger, but was only seeing 1.5mpg during races.
Hesketh 24. Based upon their Formula 1 winning 1975 design, Hesketh is releasing a new bike dubbed the 24. It's powered by a 1,950cc V-twin putting out 120bhp and hopefully a shit ton of torque.
Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA. Or at least I think this is a GTA. If it is, then it has aluminum body panels, plastic side windows, mag wheels and lightweight interior trim.
1964 AC Cobra and 1957 Ferrari 250 Testa Rossa.
1934 Alfa Romeo Tipo B P3 Monoposto. This is powered by a 2,905cc twin-supercharged straight-8 engine.
DeTomasto Pantera GTS S. Almost sounds like Porsche got their naming conventions from DeTomaso.
Ford No. 999. 1,156ci. 100hp. In 1904 Henry Ford drove this car to a land speed record of 91.37mph on a frozen lake.
1959 Aston Martin DBR4. With a DOHC straight-6 putting out 250bhp, this was still a heavy lump of a car, and it never won a single Grand Prix event. Carroll Shelby raced one in 1959 so there's that.
A magnificent Maserati 8CM. Famous racer Tazio Nuvolari raced an 8CM to victory at the 1933 Belgian Grand Prix, but the car couldn't master the newer Alfa, Mercedes or Auto Union racers in 1934 or 1935.

The last time I rode a V-twin, it... had no low or mid-range torque. Mind you, I tried all modes and nope! It wouldn't work with me.
I still want one, though, but only if I don't get in trouble for it.
