My lovely girlfriend and I went to see them live at the Verizon Center in DC last weekend. It was a GREAT show. Joe Walsh and Don Henley really brought it.

Saw them there when my wife and I were dating. 2008, I think. It was a pretty great show.

for a minute I thought you where talking about the eagles sports team, and was going to say fuck the eagles, then apologize and excuse my self by saying that I'm a giants fan living twenty minutes from philly. then I read your post, and relised you where talking about the band.

actually, it's semi related story time!

do you know what mummers day is? philly has a big parade on new years day, with drunk and hungover people every where. any way, I went with my dad and he wore a yankees hat(might have been a year we won/ they lost too). a few choice words where thrown our way.

Pretty sure you could wear a philly minor league team (any sport) and get curse words tossed at you. One of the old philly stadiums had ITS OWN FUCKING JAIL.

And the tunnel from the baseball stadium to the hotel nearby is not a rumor.

Unlike the Rolling Stones, this is one band I would like to see keep touring until they are wheelchairs.
