So I witnessed a UPS Freight Truck doing a one-wheeled burnout, his differential was sending all the power to the wheel on the ice and none to the one on the pavement. When he finally got just a fraction of traction he just gunned it all of the way out of our dock-well. Tire smoke ensued. The driver commented that their newer trucks have a button to lock the diff, I assume. But this lucky guy had an older truck.

Now, I'm a bit leery of posting this on the internet, as UPS has been a good company to work with and they are also a massive company, so i don't want to get in trouble, do you think I shouldn't? The thing is, the burnout was warranted, it was the best way, with his limited resources, to get out, haha.

Also I was on the non-spinning-tire side, so the video is mostly burnout noise, haha.

As long as the video doesn't clearly show who's driving or any identification on the truck (numbers/license, etc), I'd say post away!

But of course, there's always risk in posting videos like that.

"Hello sir. I am detective Shoegum. I am here to ask you some questions about a UPS driver that frequents this business. May I take a few minutes of your time"?

Yeah, and it's not all that great, it's a good if you were there kind of video, for purposes of laughing over it again.

UPS Freight fucked up a door for a 2013 Mazda3 for me this week. Fuck em.

Though the person at the Mazda Atlanta parts depot should have marked which side of the box was "UP". UPS delivered it on its side, and the TOP of the box had drag marks. Bottom of the door was folded over.

Nice.
