With my Impreza in for repairs, I took to browsing through the Forester and the outback. The Outback checks sooo many things on my list... But dies hard when it comes to aesthetics. I read that the 2015 Outback is being displayed next month and all I can find are heavily camo'd shots. Has anybody found any leaked renders/pictures of what it looks like yet?

If you don't mind me askin, why not a Forester? The new ones are so beautiful outside. And if you can swing an XT, ho boy. You're gonna have a good time.

Not my cup of tea, comparing the two back to back, the Forester felt cheap light/top heavy, while the outback was more solid and grounded to the ground.

Love my 2011 Outback, can't say a bad thing about it. Comfy ride, tons of ground clearance, gets 27 mpg commuting, 31 mpg on long trips. Comfortable interior, feels like a well composed family sedan, and not like an SUV. Cargo capacity to die for.

Highly recommended.

Is an XV in your sights too? Or are you looking at mostly big stuff?

I had a look, but I don't think my two 80lb dogs would be very happy in the back. Especially if we had to take extra bags with us. Got a baby on the way, and a soon to be 12 year old boy.
