Holy hell...Confiscate the cars and sell them off to museums and collectors...don't crush them! Or let the schools sell them off! Anything but destruction!
This is just as stupid as it would be if they leveled the entire Corvette Museum (with the cars inside) just because a sinkhole opened up.

Its simple.
Chrysler donated the cars, they still own them. Students are being fucking morons with a supercar that most professional drivers would think twice about driving hard in.
Chrysler (as the owners still) could be made liable simply for being owners, and they don't need that kind of heat from trigger happy lawyers.
Hence, cars being crushed. End the problem before it becomes a bigger one.

Taking them away from the school/students would be enough. Crushing isn't necessary. Chrysler can do one without doing the other.
