I really really really really REALLY want one of these, but too much for me to spend to find a decent one.
I remember YEARS ago my buddy and I were going to buy an old beat up Omni shell we found at a local u-pull and turn it into a GLH version. But we were distracted by women instead.

"Very horsepower. So malaise. Wow. Many classic." - Doge DeMuro, praising the Doge Omni GLH

Just like my '84 with the swiss cheese wheels. No wait, the door handles haven't broken off yet.

I learned on an Omni that arguably could have been a GLH. We don't know because my dad wont say, and the car wasn't badged. We don't have it anymore, so I don't even have the VIN to run (though we may have an old registration card for it if I really dig around my dad's desk). My 3 sisters and I all learned to drive on it, it had less than 75k on it when my dad sold it, and the clutch was original, though it had plenty of other replacement parts on it. It actually got progressively worse before it got sold, though not because it was beat on, but because low quality new parts (radiator cap shattered, fuel filter issues, shift linkage, heatshield washers). Car was religiously maintained and garage kept. Hope the new owner is taking care of it. I didn't like it, but it was an absolute tank. Heaviest clutch I've ever had to work (way heavier than a 68 GTO).

Wow. But that's a GLHS, so it almost makes sense.

Wonder if anyone can work on it, too... or if parts are available.

Still, it'd be so cool.
