Everyone complains about Kinja, here's a chance to say what you really want.
For me: It would be nice to have the short, succinct posts (such as Goodnight Oppo, animated gifs, look at this hilarious tweet) to one side while the longer articles (those that are popular, that require effort and research, those that eventually make the "best of") stay a bit longer in a separate column.
What do you want from KINJA?

Bug fixes (we've had some bugs that have persisted for the better part of a year)
Photos that don't scale down when under a certain width
Private messaging

Private messaging would be awesome! Especially for Hot Wheels exchange...putting your address down and then waiting for a response before deleting it is just....silly.

Fewer bugs, an ability to get to my "personal blog" without excessive loading times and 40* errors, and photos on mobile format.

That's a nice idea, but it will never work. The Kinja you see on your desktop is the same as the Kinja you see on your mobile. If you squeeze your desktop browser window really skinny, it will switch to Kinja mobile. It's pretty clever, actually. So, Kinja will always be essentially a single column.

Basically, I'm pretty happy with it. They've got comments fairly well ironed out after the initial fiasco. I really want pictures back on mobile. I think that was a really boneheaded move on their part. I want bigger pictures in Oppo. There was a hack for that but new Kinja broke it. And I'd love private messaging.

The ability to insert multiple pictures from a mobile device. Its annoying on my iPad to have to edit a comment to add more pics - if the edit button even works

If you run Oppo with tiger off, the hack still works. That's what I'm doing now.

Yeah, I still Old Kinja on my laptop and my phone. But I went ahead and drank the Kool Aid on the desktop. There's little likelihood that they will continue to support the old one, and they will eventually turn off the tap entirely, I would imagine.

I'm with you. I'm tired of Kinja not wanting to let me look at my own page.

This. I actually like the commenting system now. I can quickly scan the individual comments and see if there is something I want to drill deeper into.

Nested indent for replies instead of "sometimes there but in the wrong order and sometimes not there at all" replies.
