After having the (fake) leather lying around for ages I finally did another ghetto-mod to my car and wrapped the area between my steering wheel spokes in leather to increase the "chunkiness" of the steering wheel and make it feel a bit nicer than the stock rubber. It's squishier, easier to grip, and more comfortable to hold. I quite like it. Doesn't look terrible, either.

Oh shit the new potato is out?!
Nice job by the way, at the end of the day it's all about the feel, and the color meshes nicely.

i dig it. wrapped my trucks wheel a few years ago. never understood who thought a 1/2" thick ring was comfortable.

Looks pretty good, I've had a steering wheel cover on mine for almost as long as I've had the car. The steering wheel is/was blue and faded really badly along the top; one day I plan on trying to restore it to its former blue glory.

Yeah, my steering wheel was better than most stock but there's always room for improvement.
