I used to love surprising my first cat with the rug in my bedroom. It was light enough that I could just move it with my foot.

I'd place a corner of the rug between my toes and just jiggle it a little bit to get the cat's attention and when she came near it, I'd just shove it forward. Cat jumped back like 3 feet. Never did learn, either.
