Side step no longer needed. Just giving you a hard time. Shop looks great. Would like to think I'd buy one of these things but lack of manual tranny and independent front suspension make it a tough sell for my very particular requirements.

Needs more tire and less wheel, but I totally dig on the concept. The headlight fix is a nice touch but ainta goina happen...like any of this would anyway.

![]() 03/05/2014 at 14:55 |

Won't be for another year. Sourcing parts now. Likely won't be a cummins though too much $$$. Looking for a 6.x L LSx motor backed by a NV4500 manual.

i love this gif

I've seen that marks4wd in AU, makes a wide range of motor mounts and conversion parts to mate a GM v8 diesel and NV4500 into the 60 series. I think that they had them for the 80 as well.
I've been thinking of selling the 100 and picking up a 60 or 80 for diesel swap. You better get a build thread going on ih8mud or here!

*pukes*
![]() 03/05/2014 at 15:46 |

My understanding is that Marks only supports the NV4500 with the FJ60 transfer case. There is another outfit that I have found through mud that makes an adapter to the FJ80 case (dieseladapters.com). I highly recommend dumping the 100 and getting your hands dirty!
