Today, I opened up BAT and saw a BEAUTIFUL 1991 Audi 200 WAGON that is so clean looking maybe because it only has 61K. Black/Black 5 speed wagon.
How could things improve from there? I was thinking, Until I stumbled upon a Black on Black 5 speed M5 from 1988 a few cars down. This one has about double the miles but is claimed to be a 1/30 car in 1988. I must say I hate when people say 1/XX on non special edition cars. Anyhow, this one is offered at $12 big ones.
What say you oppo....M5 with the legendary S38, or the 5 Speed Manual Wagon for $5K more?

Me too. You will need $5k to keep both cars running in the next year or two with preventative maintenance.

There is one on eBay right now in very acceptable condition for $9K. I have no idea why M3s are through the roof touching $30k and the M5s can be had for $7,500 if you want to cut a couple corners.
