There are lots of old, awesome, and bizarre cars that live near me. For example, I found this in my neighborhood the other day.

Anyone have a clue on the year and/or model?

Not unlike the Miata I posted the other day, this is a study in minimalism with the keys inexplicably in the ignition. You gotta love the crate for a seat as well.

Looks like Johnny Law has taken notice as well. I pulled over to the side on my way to work today to snap a few pics before it gets hauled away.

Either a '69 or a '70. Can't narrow it down further with the missing bumpers.

I believe that wood package around the gauges marks it as a 70 DeVille.

Sounds very plausible. If it's still there on my way home from work, I'll try to find a VIN and see what that yields.
