I know many of the lower rung teams deliberately run light in a dodgy bid to secure sponsors- most memorably the prost team.Can anyone remember if williams have done this?My memory for f1 stuff isnt great

This year? I doubt it. They have just scored mega sponsor deals with Martini and Banco brasil (sp?). Doubt they need to pad their times. Especially when everyones just trying to get their damn car to work reliably in the first place.
