For some reason I want this F-150 engine put in a Fox Mustang. 320hp, 350tq, mileage, and the CG would be moved back about a foot. I don't know why but it would be perfect because madscience. What would you put this in?

I'd make an open wheel buggy type thing. Because racebuggy.

Fox Body is a great idea. I would mid engine mount it in a Focus a la Clio V6.

someone on here brought up the idea, but it's the best idea ever.
ST ranger.

oh yeah.....it would fit too. Someone will do that.....

Obviously a typo for Ecoboost 3.5, which I would put in any small/medium RWD or AWD car.
Legacy GT, Fusion AWD, S3, S4, S5, Mustang, Wrangler, Genesis, G37x, and anything else stuck with a turbo-4 or NA 6.

No...it's a 2.7, Lighter. I was thinking how awesome it would be to combine the 3 liter into itself to make a 2.0 v6 bestmotor but...then i saw this thing....hmmm

Ford ranger, complete with the AWD drivetrain from the flex or taurus. Because modern syclone.

I wonder what else this will show up in....

I'm aware the 2.7 exists, I just think it's pointless with the 3.5 available. Far more power potential, and to me 3.0 is the smallest a 6 should go.

I'd like to have one in the last of the 2-door Crown Vic's (85ish?).

Fusion - call it Fusion SHO as a true replacement for the original Taurus SHO. Enough power and torque to move it around smartly.

did you listen to the sounds of the KL-DE mazda 2.5 v6?....it changed my mind. I think there's a lack of 3.0 and 3.5 v-12's out there....Anyway yes a 3.5 is a great engine with lots of potential but...it's heavy. The 2.7 is much lighter and with the other weight savings, this could be an interesting truck for those that don't need to pull 24,000 pounds...but it could also be an option no one gets so I do see where you come from. I only need to pull 6,000 pounds and this would be wonderful for that....and get better mileage than the 3.7 n/a offered perhaps.
honestly i just want to see how well the diesel colorado does.

1st or 2nd gen SHO. I owned one of both and they were a blast. This would be a damn rocket.

Miata (if it was narrow enough)

they can fit the duratec-30 v6 in there....i would think this might be a good one

I've been contemplating wasting a vast amount of money over the next few years to put one in a falcon. I don't know, I've just been crazy for efficient engines and electric motors lately. Oh, I wish I was smart enough to put in some electric wheel motors.

The 3.0 has a lower deck IIRC ; if not this engine the 2.3 I-4 coming for the Mustang

If only there were a way to make it talk friendly with the electronics in my Hummer H3.

I'd get a 3.5 instead, then place it in an old Range Rover or Discovery. The 2.7 I'd put in my 240sx.

Needs to go in the back seat of a RWD converted Fiesta. It would be the spiritual successor to the SHOgun Festiva's that were built back in the day.

I just had an idea of an old ford maverick. and then of an xr4ti....oh the mind is workin.

SO MANY OPTIONS!
Imagining my old Discovery with more than double the power makes me giggle, honestly. And the 240sx as well...wait...I wonder if the 2.7 and a Panda AWD setup would fit in my 500???
