I was at my friend's house yesterday. When I got there he said to me "Dude, you have to see this car that's in my apartment's garage right now."

I figured it was going to be something dumb like a Bentley or a Gallardo or something.

But no, shoulda had more faith in my friend's car knowledge. Check this bad boy out!

Pretty sure that's the first time i've seen an R31 in the U.S.

I really don't like the looks of this car, but the cool factor is through the roof of that underground garage, and up through the rest of the building.

Judging by the imprint of the boards used to cast the concrete (vs. modern formwork/sheets of plywood) it is rather old too.

It was a pretty Jalop garage besides the Prius. The only other cars in there were a Porsche 968, my buddies MKV GTi, a nice newish C-class Mercedes and a WRX.

It's just been imported - I worked on it a couple weeks ago. 80ish thousand miles and the only thing that needs to be replaced is the steering wheel. The owner probably has the oem Nardi replacement in already.

It totally looks like a 1st gen MX-6 in those pictures. IRL the round taillights are much easier to see. The lighting in these pictures makes them blend into the black taillight surround.
