Not a mod but more info needed. Is this on frontpage? If so, I find new kinja puts posts in funny places.

Did you try a couple hard refreshes? I find that it takes a few of these to show up my posts sometimes. I think the servers take some time to figure things out.

Are they showing up eventually?

If so, be patient. You comment has to go all the way to Kinja and back before you can see it.

Try CTRL + F5 . That will reload the page from the servers. A refresh just refreshes from your local cache.

Nope, they are numbered as present, in the comment count, but when I look inside the thread, they are gone.

It's not that at all. There's a gasp bug in Kinja that randomly blocks users, requiring a mod to unblock them. So far its happened to me and AUDIOVOX and probably many more. Its even more annoying than you think it is.
