The founder of Sahara India Pariwar and co-owner of Force India, Subrata Ray was arrested last Friday for failing to show up in court in Wednesday. He's being suspected for committing a 3,9 billion dollar scam related to illegal bonds.
Currently the Force India team is owned together by Ray and Vijay Mallya with both holding 42,5% of the shares. The third owner with the rest 15% is the Dutch Mol family.
It is unclear how the arrest will affect the team but according to F1 journalist Joe Saward few subcontractors have received requests from Force India to extend due date on bills.

The fastest car in winter testing is driven by the two most likable young pilots in the field, both pushed out of higher end seats repeatedly, and owned by two purported con men. This season will be, to say the least, interesting.

Fastest car in winter testing? I would say that price goes to the W05.

This is what I read:
"Sahara Group chief Subrata Roy was on Friday sent to police custody till March 4, 2014 hours after he was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh police. Mr. Roy surrendered before the police on Friday morning, two days after the Supreme Court issued a non-bailable warrant against him for failing to refund Rs. 20,000 crore to investors."

I don't think so. Mercedes and Williams came out on top. The best time during testing was set by Massa, and on the long runs, the W05 and the Williams were quite strong, just as the Red Bull.
