You can come to work in shorts any day you like... and then your boss can choose to fire you for it.

I might be one of the few American dudes in the world who doesn't wear shorts. Ever. I don't care how hot it gets, I just can't stand wearing them.

I work as a pump jockey.
It's ten below out.
I'll pass on the shorts today.

No you're not alone. I rarely ever wear shorts. I'll keep my jeans and cowboy boots, thank you.

Hey, some of us have good-lookin' ankles and some don't.

Yeah the wind chill here is -10. I'm working from home (not because of the cold, just because I wanted to) and I'm wearing two thermal tops.

No, it's short sleeves - the right to bare arms.

It's too cold.

I almost never, ever wear shorts in public unless it's the beach or hiking. Always in jeans, even in the dead of summer in New England humidity.
There's some goofy rule "no man over 30 should wear shorts" and while I think it's silly, I agree because I'm well over 30 and I don't like to wear shorts.

And I'm the opposite. I love shorts and flip flops. I grew up in California. Hardest thing for me was learning that in Alaskan winter, I can't wear shorts and flip flops!

I think that's what happened to me as well.

Just Friday? I come to work in shorts everyday. I'm lucky to work in such a laid back office.
