So I work for a company that does insurance replacements.. Long story short ..
You file a insurance claim
Instead of the INS cutting you a check for a depreciated amount I replace it .
Now the company I work for works directly with Best Buy , B&H Photo, Mac Tools , Snap On , Matco Tools , Northern Tool and so on Guitar Center .
This gives us the opportunity of replacing your item for less than retail and have it sent straight to your door step .
The insurance company saves time and money , My company makes profit off of the discount , and the insured (person who was robbed) gets all the items they had brand new in the box right to the door step ....
Awesome right ? .. Right .

I find it horrible that I could put an order in with a US company for tools, pay to have it freighted over to AU, and it still ends up cheaper than if I bought it in store here. That's even with crazy shipping costs, and our dollar being at 90 US cents.
