yup, first US year. 1992 325i autotragic with 283,000+ miles on the ticker. I purchased it for $800 in horrid condition one weekend after my 1990 E34 525i (at 416,000 mile) spun some bearings the weekend before.

Not bad at all my friend, I love picking up cars for dirt cheap and then rescuing them.
See, you know what you should buy next, to make your German car collection complete, is a 944 :)

![]() 02/26/2014 at 13:56 |

968? Oh yeah, you are talking 10k + easily.
Now, a mid 80's 944 N/A? We are talking around 2-3k

lol that's better :] !!!! Way poor car people!!!
![]() 02/26/2014 at 14:20 |

Yeah too bad the clutch kit runs a good 800 bucks. Hopefully you are mechanically inclined because a clutch job in labor runs about 1800 bucks. For a DIYer it usually takes a few weeks to a few months, I've only seen one done during a weekend ONCE. And the guy worked literally from sun up to sun down.

Hey, maybe if you call the guy, you could get him down to sub 2000, it's low enough to be what the hell not money

I know. Unfortunately my father is a very practical man, and I'll likely end up with a Civic instead. *sigh*
![]() 02/26/2014 at 17:31 |

Hey I ended up with an 89 civic when I was living with my dad. Learn to wrench on that thing so one you get one of these you aren't screwed when something breaks
