Looks to be a styled after an early-mid 2000's VW switchblade key.
You can see the key pattern on the valet key. VW used a laser cut key pattern with internal teeth (I think that's the correct term). It certainly made it one of the more unique keys in the past decade.

Recent Vw's have milled keys like that, as do Audi's, and everything in the VAG family. I think BMW has those now, too.
