Is no one talking about the fact Jacques Villeneuve is going to run the Indy 500 this year? Has Indycar become so irrelevant that even news like this doesn't make people care?

You need a long memory for Jack Villnev (as the ABC announcers surely will call him again) to have any connection to IndyCar in the first place. It's been 19 years since his last Indy 500 and now he's a 42 year old entering with a midfield (at best) team. I hope IndyCar can give us a little more than that to be excited about this year.
That said, I was a fan of his back then, and I'll be rooting for him.

Well, yes. He won the last real Indy 500 in 1995 when it was CART.
