That's awesome.
I've had a 69 Corvette/Camaro combination ad since high school, I should do this with it so it stops collecting dust.

yeah you should! I had a trove of VW ads but they got water damaged in a move. Not excited about that. Preserve it before something happens

Well, it is in a plastic protector with a cardboard backing.
It WAS really cool to have up in my cubicle when I worked on Chevy Advertising for a while.

what did being in Ford heavy advertising make you want to take it down? I am easy, I just rep Renault, Peugeot, Alfa and 30's Mercedes...along with Narragansett beer on my office walls. Nobody is advertising them through us!

Hahaha, I had a lot of client interaction at my old company and lots of high level clients walking by my desk. Having up non-Ford stuff was frowned upon inside the agency. And by high level, I mean people with the last name FORD (and not the mayor of Toronto lol)

haha yeah that happens. I think if they saw a Peugeot ad they might laugh though

yes and no...
I worked specifically on Ford International in "growth" markets. So in some of our areas, Peugeot was a competitor.

very true. Ah well, at least you have a Ford classic to impress someone! I often take a rental car on client visits. If you drive your own whip they get real funny about what you own, even if it is a classic.

Yeah, I drove a 2004 Blazer 4x4 most of the time I worked there. I used to park it in the back of the lot when I went over to the Ford buildings. Not a requirement, but I felt it was more polite.
Also, added benefit is that's where all the global vehicles we didn't get in the US were parked!!!
I did bring the Montego to a few Ford events, it got very positive reactions!
