a buddy of mine broke the rear passenger side shock hauling some ceramic tiles in his Prius.

The maximum load weight for the Prius is 840 pounds. Those tiles add up very, very quickly. In fact, I just about bottomed out my Hilux with a load of floor tiles a few years ago.

yeah he said he hd probly 400lbs of tile behind the rear seats. combine that with a bubpy road, which we have plenty of and you're gonna break most passenger cars.
