So yesterday I went out for my normal 22 mile ride in the desert, except I only made it 6 miles before I lost a tire, had no spares, and happened to forget my cell, so I had a nice 6 mile walk back... During that time I saw (pictures are not actual, just representations):
A hideous gold wrapped Aston Martin V8 Vantage. I seriously felt bad for this car. The only way this poor Aston could have had it worse would be if Justin Bieber were driving.
A red 360 Spyder being driven about 20 under the limit on a wide open, flat, straight desert road... in like the lowest possible RPM range. I was honestly surprised when it past me because the Prius that followed was nosier...
A black DB9 that gurgled and popped nicely as it passed me down hill.
And a red Z06 being driven by a man who looked like the steering wheel was abnormally heavy for him...

SINCE I APPARENTLY DID NOT TYPE LARGE ENOUGH LAST TIME. THESE ARE JUST REPRESENTATIONS. I COULD NOT FIND A GOLD WRAPPED V8 VANTAGE TO POST. DEAL WITH IT!!!!!

you live in a glorious place. I see a local Maserati quatroporte every now and then but its a V6 in local traffic which never revs over 3K....what a waste.

At least the wraps are temporary, that is the only thing that keeps me from yelling at drivers when I see those. I know that one day a proper enthusiast will get the car and return it to it's former glory. I've seen this guy around a few times and it drives me nuts.

There is:
a Lotus Esprit V8
996 C4s
993 targa
2011 Maserati QP
C6 Z06
Pace car edition C6 convertible (rather meh but...)
And a fully built 59 Chevy big block with a blower tubed and fat tires.
And that's just on my street and the one adjacent to it.

It takes a very loving enthusiast to deal with a car that was treated so harshly in the past. You know the car will be a cranky bitch for quite some time, even after you remove the wrap.
