Yes, I know WW will be in the next Snyder fest but come on WB, your excuses of "WW is too hard to right" kinda fall flat on their face when we have a TALKING FOUL MOUTHED RACCOON as part of Marvel's Summer blockbuster movie.

But, no Captain Marvel or Black Panther.

Give them a few weeks and another fifth of vodka.
These are the guys who cast Paul Rudd as Ant Man. They just don't give a shit at all.

I'm rooting for Luke Cage myself. Though seeing Panther out there would be awesome as well

If you like Rocket Raccoon, consider kicking a few bucks to his creator, Bill Mantlo.
Mantlo was badly hurt by a hit and run driver in 1992 and suffered a traumatic brain injury. He's unlikely to see a cent from the profits of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie.
The story:
http://www.lifehealthpro.com/2011/11/07/tra…
The victim of a closed-head brain injury from nearly 20 years before, Bill cannot move from his wheelchair to his bed without help, nor can he feed himself, go to the bathroom or conduct any other kind of normal physical activity unaided. He can move his arms, but the fine motor control in his hands is very poor. He needs someone else to put his glasses on for him, and when he wants to take them off, he can only drag his hands across his face and let the glasses clatter to the floor.
Bill can hear and recognize when people speak to him, but his own speech is slow, labored and typically consists of single words or very short sentences. Most times, he simply yells at anybody who enters his room. He has a history of lashing out violently at staff and patients, though in his current condition, the only person he is likely to hurt with a swing is himself.
His room is nearly empty. No television. No radio. No books, magazines or newspapers. No decorations on the walls. No mementos from previous visitors. Nothing at all to mark the individual who has lived here since 1995. A solitary prison cell has more personality than this, even though Bill is not prohibited from going anywhere. He just lacks mobility, and most times, the will. His average day consists of waking up, getting changed and cleaned by the morning shift nurses, and then a sit in his wheelchair, where he stares at nothing. When he has had enough, he is transferred back to his bed, where he closes his eyes and tries going back to sleep. At some point he will be fed, and after that, more sleep.

The difference between Marvel and DC is that the former didn't have jack shit on the latter in terms of movies for a long time (DC is still leading all the way in animation and the TV department) and said "fuck it, let's be wild - we have nothing to lose". It paid off!
WB/DC only did that once, when they grossly underestimated the value of the Batman franchise and hired an inexperienced indie-director called Christopher Nolan in something that must have been a lucky drunken stupor. After Nolans Batman became a critical and commercial success, the studio became once again path depended and now everything they do has to look like "The Dark Knight". Unfortunately the failure of " Green Lantern" and the relative success of "Watchmen" has only intensified that positive feedback loop. Now it's fucking Zack Snyder, that unimaginative hack, all the way. I can only hope that Ben Affleck, whom I cherish as a director, has a positive influence on Batman vs. Superman.

My wife loves WW and we have talked a bunch about it. I think the problem is she doesn't have a recognizable enemy. Her main enemy is Hades. What are you going to do with that?

You can do several things.
First, you make it about the character WW . . . not the enemy. You can use Hades as a backdrop to highlight her character - definately - but I wouldn't start with Hades. Look at Batman Begins not using Joker.
Iron Man worked this way. The first film was about Tony Stark . . . not Iron Monger (or Titanium Man, or Mandarin, or . . . ) so it can be done.
However with our luck we'll wind up with another Catwoman movie. Nothing against anyone involved in that film other than I've tried to watch it several times (about six) and can't make it through it.
This from a person who actually *paid* to see Barb Wire in the hope that we would have *good* superhero movies in the theater. Now I have Avengers. Thank you.

Why? And why more guy star movies instead of Black Widow?
Or did you mean Ms. Marvel (Danvers)?

Ms. Marvel is Captain Marvel

Are you talking about the Ang Lee Hulk, or the 2008 Hulk for Marvel rolling the dice?
