Nice. I want snow. Here our weather is so fucking boring. Cloudy and -8 C to -21C all week. Joy. That's like 17F to -6 F. LAME!! At least snow makes for shoveling.

I know that feel... We've been getting my some heavy rain in my area for the last week or so, and I did quite a lot of highway driving in the meantime, so my car's developed a totally non healthy or good looking crust. We're set for more rain, though, March is probably the rainiest month here in the state, so I've no idea when I'll be washing it.

Yeah, this weather really messes with your car.

I like my truck dirty generally but it would be nice for it to be finally clean after a month.

I don't like it that much, I mean, I'm pretty sure my car looks like a junkyard wreck when dirty, like one of those other Tipos that are so broken down they're practically running on miracles and happy thoughts.

A 95 Tipo Sedicivalvole

It probably doesn't look that much like a wreck when dirty, but I always get the feeling it does...

Got any indoor car washes around that are still open? Keep the undercarriage salt free my friend, or as salt free as you can during snow season

That looks like a little bundle of joy.

There are indoor washes around me but it'd be a waste of money for it to be clean for a day and then it'll look like this again within 24 hours. I am a bit concerned about the undercarriage, especially since it's body on frame.

I know what you mean completely. And I'm always worried about undercarriage rust no matter what, that shit is a true silent killer. During winter I usually get an under carriage wash once every two weeks or so, but I drive 40 miles a day on the interstate. It takes a while for salt to really start eating at stuff but I wouldn't really take the risk, I mean worst come to worst put it up on ramps, and use a pressure washer

Was thinking of just getting it rustproofed every summer. Would that work?

Well getting an undercoating would be your best bet yeah. Get a real good cleaning under there, and take it to a place that does the undercoating. And any parts you put back on if you are worried about rust I would recommend getting them galvanized. Just remember that stuff doesn't last forever wwithout taking care of it right, even with an undercoating I would say during winter get it cleaned good every 2 weeks or so, if you plan on keeping the car a long while

Anytime brother. I've never got a car under coated but my 944 is under coated, and the entire body is galvanized. There is not a single indication of rust, even surface so if it's done right you are good to go. Plus that sort of thing really helps resell. Good luck!
