I don't understand. This person is tweeting from some kind of internet-connected device, no? They follow NASCAR enough to know who the drivers are and to congratulate them on a win, no? Wouldn't said person be suspicious that this year's race looks shot-for-shot exactly like last years with the same result? Even if they didn't watch one 'til now, wouldn't just googling the winning driver's name reveal the debacle?
This world does not make sense anymore...

That would imply the person in question actually did the long and laborious task of googling anything related to the race. It's just so much easier for them to jam their fingers in their ears and shout how right they are in all caps.
