I tried this with an In N Out Burger and two donuts. As long as you stick with glazed you should be OK, but if you use a frosted donut it totally screws up the flavor.
tl;dr learn from my mistakes.

You are my hero.
I wonder if it'd work with a cream filled glazed doughnut?
I think I need to make a midnight run to the donut store... and In N Out.

I don't think so. You don't want the donut to be super sweet, because it really tastes horrible with the beef and cheese flavors. Glazed is *just* sweet enough to provide a unique taste but not so much as to ruin the overall taste.
And my personal recommendation is 2 Randy's Donuts glazed with a Double Double, Animal Style. All ingredients that are 5 minutes from my house :D

I know this is totally disgusting. But I bet it tastes awesome.
